IMA International is a manufacturing company for trade fair construction, retail construction and display construction, based in Aßlar near Wetzlar in Hesse. Since 1976, we have been delivering projects for mid-size businesses and corporations from a wide range of industries – nationally and internationally.

Concept, planning, engineering and production happen in our own workshops and flow seamlessly into each other. The result: ambitious presentation and spatial solutions, engineered with care and delivered on a commercially sound basis.

Our approach

PROJECT PLANNING AND EXECUTION

Projects grow out of specific requirements, defined brand strategies and concrete use cases. Concept, planning and delivery run as one continuously managed project process with integrated quality assurance.

All project phases connect along the full value chain – from concept through engineering, production and logistics to set-up and dismantling on site. This drives efficient workflows and commercially viable solutions.

Wood, metal, plastic and glass are processed in-house. Materials are combined and engineered specifically for each project. Surfaces are built for durability and finished, among other things, with our own powder coating.

Our service portfolio includes trade fair construction, shopfitting, interior fit-out, furniture construction and display construction – from exhibition stands, exhibitions and showrooms to custom fit-out systems and brand-specific presentation solutions.

BUDERUS - ISH 2025

At ISH 2025, IMA created a two-storey brand environment for Buderus with a total area of [X sqm]. The stand combined large-format product presentations, a curved LED event wall and a fully equipped consultation lounge into a cohesive overall concept. An illuminated display platform featuring a DeLorean as a visual centrepiece brought the brand message “Into the Future” to life in a striking and theatrical way.

STORE MILAN

For the Leica Camera AG store in Milan, IMA delivered the brand-specific fit-out — from developing and producing every furniture element to final assembly. The goal: bring the distinctive Leica Camera AG brand world to life in the space while meeting the functional demands of everyday retail.

HEXAGON – HMI

IMA designed Hexagon's appearance at Hannover Messe as a 98 m² stand with an open presentation area. The concept made room for metrology exhibits and digital solutions on custom-built presentation podiums. Integrated monitors and large-format screens enabled focused product demos. A suspended ceiling element with lighting framed the stand architecturally.
