WHO WE ARE

COM­PA­NY PRO­FILE

IMA International develops solutions for exhibition construction, shopfitting and display construction and delivers national and international projects.

As a company with its own production facilities at its headquarters in Aßlar near Wetzlar, Germany, IMA is responsible for the technical planning, engineering and production of brand-specific spatial solutions. Key process steps are managed in-house with short coordination paths.

IMA’s clients include medium-sized companies and international corporations from industry, technology and retail in both B2B and B2C sectors.

EX­PE­RI­ENCE

Since 1976

Since 1976, IMA has been delivering solutions for exhibitions, retail spaces and presentation environments across a wide range of industries and has established itself as a reliable implementation partner.

Long-standing project experience and stable client relationships continue to shape the company today. Established structures and experienced teams ensure consistent quality throughout all project phases.

Around 70 employees work at the company’s headquarters in Aßlar, Germany. Many clients have relied on continuous collaboration with IMA for more than 15 years.

PRO­DUC­TION

IN-HOUSE MANU­FAC­TURING

In close coordination with clients, IMA designs, engineers and manufactures individual solutions ranging from exhibition stands and retail interiors to sales displays.

Both custom-made products and series furniture are produced within IMA’s own workshops.

Production capabilities include woodworking, metalworking and various surface finishing processes. An in-house powder coating facility enables durable and colour-stable surfaces.

Design, planning, engineering and manufacturing are closely interconnected throughout the process. Short coordination paths ensure consistent quality and reliable project schedules.

PRO­JECTS

PRO­JECT DE­VEL­OP­MENT

IMA International delivers brand environments based both on its own concepts and on designs provided by clients or commissioned agencies.

Creative ideas are translated into technically feasible solutions and developed for production. IMA is responsible for planning, detailed engineering, manufacturing and production management. All implementation steps are carried out in close coordination with the client.

All processes are systematically interconnected, creating clear workflows and reliable planning conditions.

Depending on project requirements, IMA operates both as a specialised contractor for individual trades and as a general contractor for complete project delivery.

INTER­NA­TION­AL PRO­JECTS

PRO­JECTS IN CHINA

IMA delivers exhibition projects in China together with a partner company with locations in Germany and China. The collaboration is based on many years of experience in delivering international exhibition projects for the Chinese market.

Planning, production and installation are closely coordinated between both companies and managed jointly throughout all project phases.

Clients benefit from international project experience, local market expertise and reliable project delivery.
