Technical drawing for exhibition stand construction

ENGINEERING

Technical planning with precision in the detail

ENGINEERING

CAD ENGINEERING

Engineering forms the technical foundation of exhibition, retail and presentation projects. Design concepts are translated into precise technical drawings and production documentation.

The engineering department develops digital 3D models, production drawings and bill of materials. Every component is detailed with precision and reviewed for manufacturability. Material behaviour, tolerances and assembly requirements are already taken into account during the planning phase.

Technical development takes place in close coordination with design, production and project management.

STRUCTURAL VERIFICATION

STRUCTURAL CALCULATIONS

For special constructions or walk-on structures, structural safety must be verified through certifiable structural calculations.

IMA works with qualified structural engineers on a project basis and provides the documentation required for organisers and approval authorities. Load assumptions, fixing points and safety requirements are incorporated throughout the engineering process.

PROTOTYPES

PROTOTYPING AND SAMPLING

On request, prototypes or sample parts are developed to evaluate material feel, design, fit and function before production starts.

Insights gained from the sampling process are incorporated directly into the engineering data, providing additional planning reliability.

DIGITAL PLANNING

BIM AND DIGITAL TWINS

For complex projects, IMA uses Building Information Modeling (BIM) to structure planning processes and identify interfaces at an early stage.

The digital project model acts as a coordinated planning basis for engineering, production and installation. Components, joints and technical disciplines can be virtually reviewed and aligned before implementation begins.

PRODUCTION

DETAILING

Structures are developed to ensure efficient manufacturing and assembly. Material thicknesses, connection systems and surface finishes are defined according to technical and commercial requirements.

Through close integration with production, solutions emerge that are predictable and reproducible.
