FURNITURE PRODUCTION

Store furniture and furnishing elements for retail spaces and brand environments

FURNISHING

STORE FURNITURE

Furniture production includes furnishing elements for retail spaces, stores and brand environments within shopfitting projects. Store furniture structures retail environments and combines product presentation with spatial design.

Typical store furniture includes shelving systems, presentation furniture, merchandise displays, built-in furniture and display cabinets. These elements create structured retail spaces and support clear product presentation within the environment.

Consultation tables, display furniture and sales counters can also form part of the store interior and fulfil different functions depending on the intended use of the retail space.

IMA develops and produces furniture for stores, showrooms and brand environments. Design, material selection and construction are aligned with usage requirements, product ranges and the spatial structure of the project.

STORE CONCEPTS

BRAND IDENTITY IN SPACE

Each furnishing element follows the spatial logic of the store – from customer flow and zoning through to the presentation of key products and focal areas.

Design, positioning and function are aligned with the architectural concept and consistently based on the brand’s corporate design. The result is a spatial environment that makes brand identity visible and guides visitors intuitively through the retail space.

IMA develops furniture and built-in elements that connect brand and space into a coherent overall concept.

SURFACES

MATERIALS AND QUALITY

Furniture production for retail environments combines a wide range of materials. Wood-based materials, metal structures, glass, HPL and lacquered surfaces are used depending on the design concept and intended application.

Material quality, surface finishing and precise craftsmanship play a key role in the overall appearance of store furniture and contribute significantly to brand perception within the retail environment.

PRODUCTION

MANUFACTURING AND PRODUCTION

IMA produces store furniture and fit-out elements within its own production facilities. This allows engineering, material selection and production processes to be closely coordinated.

Store furniture is manufactured in IMA’s in-house joinery using modern CNC machining centres for precise production. Digital manufacturing technology and skilled craftsmanship complement each other throughout the production process.

Complex shapes, precise contours and reproducible components can therefore be implemented reliably. Experienced joiners carry out the detailed craftsmanship, while CNC technology ensures high repeat accuracy in series production.

This production base supports both bespoke furniture solutions for individual stores and series production for rollout concepts across multiple locations.

APPLICATION AREAS

STORE FORMATS

Store furniture is used across a wide range of retail and presentation environments. It structures retail spaces, creates presentation areas and supports orientation throughout the store.

Typical elements include shelving systems, presentation furniture, merchandise displays, built-in furniture and display cabinets that clearly organise retail spaces and enable structured product presentation.

Consultation tables, display furniture and sales counters can also form part of the store interior and fulfil different functions depending on the intended use of the retail environment.

IMA develops and produces furniture as part of store projects, brand environments and further retail spaces within shopfitting projects.
