STORES

Brand stores and sales spaces for retailers and brands

STORE CONSTRUCTION

RETAIL SPACES FOR BRANDS

Stores are central spaces for brand presentation in physical retail environments and an important part of shopfitting. Retail spaces are planned and implemented so that product presentation, customer flow and brand identity work together within the physical environment.

IMA delivers stores for retailers, consumer brands and companies – from small boutiques through to large-scale flagship stores. Architecture, material selection and presentation systems are aligned with the brand, product range and intended use of the retail space.

STORE FORMATS

FROM BOUTIQUES TO FLAGSHIP STORES

Stores can vary significantly in size, function and usage concept.

Typical store formats include:

  • boutiques and concept stores
  • flagship stores and brand stores
  • retail spaces within department stores
  • retail environments in shopping centres
  • stores for international brands
  • shop-in-shop areas within existing stores

Each retail space is planned individually and aligned with the product range, brand identity and spatial structure of the project.

REALISATION

STORE IMPLEMENTATION

The implementation of a store involves multiple planning and fit-out stages. In addition to furniture production and presentation systems, this also includes interior fit-out services such as drywall construction, electrical systems, flooring and lighting.

IMA acts as the general contractor throughout the project – a central point of contact coordinates all involved trades. Specialised partner companies from a long-standing network deliver the respective fit-out services in a coordinated and schedule-driven process.

DETAILS

MATERIALS AND EXECUTION

In store construction, material quality and craftsmanship play a central role. Surface finishes, joint details and fittings shape the overall impression of a store just as much as lighting and presentation systems.

The production of all furnishing elements is handled within IMA’s own production facilities. This allows design, material selection and technical implementation to be coordinated with a high level of precision.

OPERATIONS

MAINTENANCE AND ADAPTATION

After the opening of a store, adjustments or extensions may become necessary – for example due to changes in product ranges or new presentation requirements.

IMA supports the maintenance, adaptation and further development of existing store environments to ensure that retail spaces remain functional and aligned with the brand over the long term.
