Scope
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.ima-international.com of IMA International GmbH.
Compliance status
We aim to make our website accessible in accordance with the European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as well as the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG).

Measures implemented
- All informative images are provided with descriptive alternative text (alt text).
- Decorative images carry an empty alt attribute and are skipped by screen readers.
- The core functions of the website are accessible via keyboard navigation.
- Contrast ratios for text and interactive. elements meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA
- Semantic HTML with a correct heading hierarchy (H1–H6).
- Responsive design for all device sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Font sizes can be adjusted using browser functions.
- All form fields are labelled with descriptive labels.
- The page language is correctly declared in the HTML (lang="en" / lang="de").
- The cookie consent banner is accessible and keyboard-operable.
Non-accessible or only partially accessible content
The following areas of our website are not yet fully accessible for the reasons given:
- Video content: Embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos do not always provide captions or audio descriptions (WCAG 1.2.2, 1.2.5).
- Plain language & sign language: Content is currently not offered in plain language or German sign language (WCAG 3.1.3 – 3.1.5, 1.2.6).
- Image descriptions: In rare cases, decorative or legacy images may not have meaningful alternative text (WCAG 1.1.1).
